The Scriptures teach that God creates everyone to bring Him pleasure (Revelation 4:11). Therefore we believe the purpose of missions is for the glory of God and should always remain our overriding motivation.

Our overall philosophy of missions is that we are to start self-sustaining, Italian-culture churches for the glory of God.

We intend to strive to adapt to the culture by learning the language and the customs. While doing the best we can, we will strive to be like the people we are trying to reach in custom while obeying the command to be holy.

We believe it is essential that we engage Him in prayer to work in lives and bring people to a place where they understand their need for forgiveness and salvation. We plan on constantly beseeching God to break the strongholds of Satan, who is blinding the eyes of the lost.

As the Lord opens up doors of opportunity we will share the life-changing message of Jesus. In Italy we desire to start home Bible studies that if the Lord wills, would become house churches. We believe that as unbelievers are taught and engaged with the Scriptures, some will come to faith in Christ (Romans 10:17).

As people turn to the Savior, we believe it is essential to train new believers through discipleship in the word of God. Missionaries are responsible to teach believers the whole counsel of God and to observe whatsoever things Christ commanded.

We believe the missionary should work for autonomous churches that are led by Italians and not dependent on the missionary. We desire to start churches that are self-replicating and that will continue on even without the missionary’s assistance.

It is our belief that this philosophy is scripturally based. Working with this philosophy will enable us to move on and replicate this model in other areas in Italy without a Bible-believing evangelical church.
