| We believe that our time of Pre-Field ministry will be both exciting and rich in opportunities for our family. Throughout our pre-field ministry we desire to effectively educate the body of Christ on the need for the gospel in Italy as well as gain partners in ministry. As we present our ministry, we look forward to the fellowship with believers and opportunities to glean wisdom from Pastors and their wives. In addition, we plan on studying the Italian language while being a witness and light for the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| Upon arriving on the field in Italy our initial goal is to begin studying and serving under a veteran missionary. While doing this we will adapt to the culture and further study the language. We are already learning the l anguage but it will be necessary for us to continue in deeper studies. As we become more familiar with the language we will be able to build relationships and begin evangelizing and discipling Italians. |
| When we return for our second term we will visit neighboring villages that are without a Gospel witness. Through saturation evangelism we will attempt to establish a home Bible study in those villages. As the Lord builds His church these home Bible studies would eventually grow into a house church. From the conception, we will disciple the believers in the Word of God and instill in them ownership and leadership of the church. Most importantly we want to impart to them a burden for the lost so that they will be missionaries among their own people, that we can successfully leave them well and go to start another work. |
