San Gemini is a typical Umbrian village, dating back to the middle ages. Located halfway along the road between Rome and Perugia, San Gemini is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday and for a visit to central Italy. The Albergo Duomo Hotel is set in a palace built in 1700, formerly inhabited by the aristocratic Santacroce family. It became a hotel in 1902, and has recently been renovated. It comprises a total of 39 accommodation units spread over 3 floors in the main building and a further 3 floors in an annexe building. A wide range of facilities is available, including a lobby with 24-hour reception and check out, a dining room and WLAN Internet access. Each room comes with en en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, a hairdryer, a television, Internet access and a minibar. In addition to this there is individually adjustable air conditioning in every room. There is an outdoor swimming pool on the hotel grounds. Alternatively guests can treat themselves to a soothing massage, play tennis or go canoeing close by. Breakfast is served in the form of a continental buffet. Lunch and dinner may be selected from a buffet, chosen from a set menu or ordered à la carte. From Florence: Take the A1 motorway towards Rome and take the exit for Valdichiana-Perugia-Bettolle. Then take the E45 towards Perugia. Continue, following signs for Terni. Turn off at the San Gemini Nord Exit to reach the hotel. From Rome: Take the A1 motorway towards Florence, exit at Orte and take the E45 towards Terni. Continue, following signs for Perugia. Turn off at the San Gemini Nord Exit to reach the hotel.
